NSLedger ("we," "our," or "us") is a personal finance planning tool for organizing bills, income, deposits, savings goals, debt accounts, subscriptions, and monthly planning activity. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password credentials, and security-question information used for account recovery. We also store the financial planning information you manually enter, including paychecks, bills, deposits, savings goals, debt accounts, subscriptions, notes, reminders, payment status, and monthly snapshots.
NSLedger does not collect bank login credentials, card numbers, bank account numbers, or access credentials for outside financial institutions.
We use your information to operate NSLedger, save your account data, calculate planner balances, show monthly history, provide account recovery, respond to support requests, send service updates, and improve the app. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored on a secured server. Passwords are never stored in plain text; they are protected using password hashing. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
All financial data you enter belongs to you. You can export your data from within the app. You may also request account deletion through support or use the account deletion option where available inside NSLedger.
NSLedger does not connect to banks or third-party financial data providers. The app operates on information you manually enter. We may use standard technical services such as hosting, email delivery, or support tools to operate the app and communicate with users.
If you send a support request, we may use your name, email address, message, and related account context to troubleshoot the issue. Administrative tools are used only to operate, support, and maintain NSLedger. We also use a separate mock account for testing so issues can be reviewed without relying on a user's personal financial data.
We may email account-related notices, support responses, and product updates about NSLedger. These messages are intended to keep users informed about changes, fixes, and improvements to the service.
NSLedger is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
